Is a Bungabox a shipping-container home?
No. The name came from the original concept of packing bungalow building materials into a shipping container. The container carried the materials; it was not the home. Our current focus is complete units built on the owner’s property.
Do I need to choose a model first?
No. Tell us your goals and project address. We can start with who will use the space, what rooms matter and what needs to be reviewed on the property.
What does the complimentary property review include?
It begins with your inquiry information and a conversation about project fit and next steps. It is not a survey, formal zoning determination, engineering service, permit approval or fixed-price quote. Any paid services are discussed before proceeding.
Is there one installed price for each model?
The model is only part of the total. Site conditions, foundations, utility work, plans, permits and finish selections affect the price. A written proposal defines the actual scope, allowances and exclusions.
Can the layout or finishes change?
Tell us what you would like to change. We can discuss feasibility, design implications and cost before it is included in a proposal. Illustrative furnishings, finishes and appliances are not automatically included.
Do you sell DIY kits or shells?
The original Bungabox concept included materials packed for DIYers and contractors. Today the website is focused on complete builds for the end user. Materials-only kits and shell-only sales are not currently offered here.
What should I send to get started?
Use the property-review form to share your contact details, project address, intended use, preferred model if known, timing and goals. Mention an available survey, utility information and known restrictions. Please do not send sensitive financial documents through the form.
